Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

Your mission

For the next phase of our product development strategy, we are looking for an Engineering Manager (m/f/d) to join our team from Hamburg or Berlin

The role

2022 has been a big one for Heyflow and its product: We scaled from one to seven Engineers in ten months and achieved a lot of milestones through our talented, high-performing and motivated team mates. With growing tasks and responsibilities, there comes more structure and People Management as well. This is why we are looking for an open minded and empathetic Manager (m/f/d) with the following mission:

What you'll do 

• Your team of Engineers is your center of attention: You will mentor and lead your squad in Software Development to motivate and accelerate not only performances, but also ambitions.

• Dailies, Weeklies, One-on-Ones: This role focuses on collaboration and communication, especially within your team and as a representative towards Design, Product Management, and the C-Level.

• With your skills in agile methodologies, you will align priorities with the PMs in Jira.

• A close relationship to talents, junior and senior, will also be part you take care of: Whether it’s onboarding, general guidance, best practices, or career roadmaps.

• You define yourself as a People Person: Teaching your team how to think outside the box and how to make the best decisions for the company is the foundation of your role.

Your profile

• Your professional background means more to us than a university degree. If you have already been in a similar position before and know how to manage, lead and mentor high-performance teams, you will be a great fit.

• You have an Agile Coach or another Management background? Awesome, that’s a plus!

• Communication is key for every role at Heyflow. It will make your and our lives very easy if you like working together in teams, with stakeholders, and cross-functional mates.

• Speaking of communication: We are an international team and speak English with each other on a daily basis, and so will you. Your English skills need to be on a very good conversational level.
